Georgian engagement rings were made between the early 1700s and the 1830s, during a time when every detail was crafted entirely by hand. These rings often feature rose cut or old mine cut diamonds, set in silver-topped gold, with ornate details like repoussé metalwork and foliate motifs. Because gem-cutting technology was still developing, diamonds from this era have a soft, candlelit glow rather than intense brilliance, adding to their romantic charm.
